How To Choose A Reflexologist

All Professional Reflexology Members (PRM) have to comply with higher criteria than any other Member Association. They have to show that they are trained to certain strict standards and that they are fully insured. They also have access to our Professional Reflexology Member pages, with the wealth of information that they contain, keeping them up to date with the latest developments and methods, helping them to help you.

It may be that you live in an area with no therapist in our directory. If this is the case, please contact one of our Affiliated Schools who will be happy to refer you to someone who has qualified on one of their excellent courses. To be certain, make sure that the therapist you choose belongs to Professional Reflexology and has the letters PRM after their name.

Another good way to choose a therapist is by recommendation. Try asking people you know if they know of anyone who is receiving treatment, and is satisfied with the results of that treatment.

Having chosen a reflexologist here are a few questions that you may like to ask:
Can I have a consultation without committing to treatment?
What are your qualifications, and are they available for me to see?
Do you have appropriate insurance?
Do you understand my condition?
How much will my treatment cost?
Professional Reflexology Members will welcome these questions because they understand the reasons why you may ask them.

You may also like to ask yourself:
Does this person seem professional?
Could I relax with this person, and talk to them honestly?

If you are satisfied with the answers, then you have found your reflexologist!
