Who Are We?

pr logo silver v small

We firmly believe that reflexology is the most powerful of complementary therapies and that the benefits of therapy should be shown to as wide an audience as possible. We also believe that reflexology practitioners should have the backing and support that they deserve in what can be a solitary occupation.

Taking these two beliefs and using up to date
ideas combined with the latest technology
the concept of Professional Reflexology was developed and launched in the spring of 2010.

Wendy & Martyn Finke

Wendy & Martyn are Principals of the Midlands based Three Shires School of Reflexology.

Having first experienced reflexology in 1985
Wendy became fascinated by the therapy and decided she would like to learn more. Training in a formal sense was not easily available at that time so she worked initially with books and became self taught, treating on a 'friends and family' basis. Realising that there was a lot more to reflexology than a foot massage, Wendy enrolled and trained on the accredited Phyllis Southam School of Reflexology practitioner course. and opened the Therapy Clinic that she still runs today.

Wendy started teaching Reflexology in 1992
and her school became accredited by the AoR in 1995. Wendy was joined in practice by her husband Martyn in 1997.

Before becoming therapists Wendy and Martyn ran a clothing manufacture and retail company. Martyn gained his qualifications in clothing design and manufacture at what is now the London College of Fashion and Wendy's management skills were developed in her family retail group.
We both totally believe in attention to detail and that you should always try to give your client the best treatment possible. You can only do this if you try to learn something new every day. We hope to help you to do this and be sucessful through Professional Reflexology.

Wendy & Martyn have given over 30,000 treatments to their clients, and taught over 250 people to become professional reflexologists.

David was origionally in sales and marketing but, as an environmentalist, became increasingly disillusioned with the sector (Industrial Packaging) in which he was involved. Having an interest in complementary therapies he trained as a reflexologist at the Northern School of Reflexology, and eventually started teaching the subject in 2001.

He established his own Reflexology school, Jubilee College, in 2007 and this successful enterprise has gone on to become one of the larger training providers in the North of England.

David became the first Reflexologist in the world to become a member of the Royal society of Medicine, is a member of the Profession Specific Board of the CNHC (the UK's Complementary Therapy Regulator) and has appeared on TV and radio to talk about Reflexology.
