We firmly believe that reflexology is the most powerful of complementary therapies and that the benefits of therapy should be shown to as wide an audience as possible. We also believe that reflexology practitioners should have the backing and support that they deserve in what can be a solitary occupation.

Taking these two beliefs and using up to date ideas combined with the latest technology the concept of Professional Reflexology coupled with its online magazine Reflexology News was developed and launched in the spring of 2010. PR was conceived and is run by a group of reflexologists and tutors who between them have vast experience of the therapy.

Wendy and Martyn Finke

Wendy & Martyn are Principals of the Midlands based Three Shires School of Reflexology.

Having first experienced reflexology in 1985
Wendy became fascinated by the therapy and decided she would like to learn more. Training in a formal sense was not easily available at that time so she worked initially with books and became self taught, treating on a 'friends and family' basis. Realising that there was a lot more to reflexology than a foot massage, Wendy enrolled and trained on the accredited Phyllis Southam School of Reflexology practitioner course. and opened the Therapy Clinic that she still runs today.

Wendy started teaching Reflexology in 1992
and her school became accredited by the AoR in 1995. Wendy was joined in practice by her husband Martyn in 1997.

Before becoming therapists Wendy and Martyn ran their own clothing manufacture and retail company. Martyn gained his qualifications in clothing design and manufacture at what is now the London College of Fashion and Wendy's management skills were developed in her family retail group.
Martyn says that fashion, like reflexology, is a cross between an art and a science so entering the field of complementary therapy was not the big leap that it may at first appear. Strangely the business side is also similar. We both totally believe in attention to detail and that you should always try to give your client the best treatment possible. You can only do this if you try to learn something new every day. We hope to help you to do this and be sucessful through Professional Reflexology.

Wendy & Martyn have given over 30,000 treatments to their clients, and taught over 250 people to become professional reflexologists.

Philip Salmon & Anna Jeoffroy

It is with great sadness that we have to tell you that, following a period of illness, Philip Salmon passed away on Sunday May 1st 2011
Philip, a director of Professional Reflexology, has together with his wife Anna been a part of the fabric of Reflexology for many years, training Reflexologists through their school Energy Works.
We will miss Philip as a great inspiration and friend and our thoughts and love are with Anna and the family

Philip had been a holistic practitioner and teacher since 1974 and had a broad and deep knowledge of all aspects of energy medicine. He studied many aspects of complementary and holistic healthcare. This was nurtured in his work at Enton Hall Naturopathic Clinic where he worked as a practitioner and manager. He planned and oversaw treatment programmes including, fasting, diet reform, neuromuscular massage, hydrotherapy, osteopathy and chiropractic, for more than 70 residential patients. His qualifications cover many energy/holistic therapies, including Cranio Sacral therapy, Electro-Crystal therapy, Painless Spinal Touch, Touch for Health and Colour therapy, Reflexology, as well as, of course Flower and Vibrational Essences.

Anna spent many years in sales promotion and marketing, including several years as a business trainer, before she retrained as a counsellor in the 1980's and then qualified as a Reflexologist. Since 1990 she has had a successful reflexology practice in North London and actively promotes Reflexology and the use of Flower Essences, giving talks at various seminars, from WIs to nursing conferences and from the Ideal Homes Exhibition to corporate presentations. Anna is also a coach, and trainer and a Vibrational Essence Practitioner.

Anna and Philip began working together teaching a Professional Reflexology Course in 1992.
