The Qualification
Our practitioner course is the Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology. This qualification is all you need to practise as a reflexologist whether you want to run your own practice or work in a clinic, doctor’s surgery, hospice etc. Your training will be sufficient to work with people of any age although you may decide to do additional specific training in areas of special interest.
What does the course cover?
Our aim is to enable you to develop into a confident, effective practitioner with all the skills needed to run a reflexology practice.
Our practitioner course teaches you:-
- How to give outstanding reflexology treatments specific to your client’s needs.
Along with reflexology techniques you will learn listening skills, how to take a consultation, how to create a treatment plan, how to use your intuition to give unique, tailored treatments.
-
Anatomy, physiology, & pathology. There is no need for any previous qualification in this area. Our A&P tutors have extensive knowledge and are also qualified complementary therapists.
-
How to set up and run your practice, as well as how to market yourself. A specialist marketing consultant, who is also a qualified reflexologist, teaches this part of the course.
Training includes supervised clinic days each month from the second term onwards so that you have ample opportunity to develop practical skills with plenty of support.
Individual tutorials are held at least twice during the course and each student is also offered mentoring.

Class sizes
We keep our student groups small with a maximum of 12 students to ensure that everyone has plenty of individual attention and support.
When do courses run?
Courses run at weekends as many of our students work full-time or are caring for children during the week.
What associations can you join afterwards?
Our students have student membership to the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) while they are training and are eligible to upgrade to full membership on graduating. Students also have free membership of Professional Reflexology and may also join other associations such as the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) etc.
Student backgrounds
Our students come to us with a wide range of backgrounds. Some have medical training, some work in an office, some are on a career break while bringing up small children etc. ALL our students have an interest in reflexology.
It is not necessary to have any prior knowledge of reflexology or anatomy & physiology as everything is covered during the course.
What do our students do after training?
We have taught some inspirational reflexologists who have created successful practices working from home, in clinics, hospices, in offices and more. Many of our graduates return to us for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) by furthering their knowledge at our post-graduate courses or learning First Aid. Every September we try to get a group of us together to promote reflexology during World Reflexology Week.
